Reading Modern Technology Digital Transformation Is Local
The people behind the systems

Technical depth without the big-vendor distance.

Our team combines software development, infrastructure, payments, integrations, security, and design. You work with people who understand both the technical system and the business outcome it is supposed to create.

How we show up

Strong systems begin with context, communication, and care.

We take time to understand the operation before recommending tools. That context allows us to design systems that reduce friction, scale naturally, and remain maintainable after launch. We collaborate, teach, document, and stay engaged because long-term usefulness matters more than a flashy handoff.

01

Fit over novelty

The newest platform is not automatically the right platform. We recommend what best serves the workflow, budget, and future.

02

Clarity over dependency

Clients should understand what they are buying, how it works, what it costs, and what choices remain available later.

03

Results over theater

Good technology should save time, improve visibility, strengthen revenue, or reduce risk—not merely look impressive in a demo.

Founders and collaborators

A coordinated team for the full technical picture.

Jay R. Winkleman

Partner and Development Lead

Jay serves as Reading Modern Technology’s software architect and development lead, translating business goals into practical systems. With more than fifteen years of experience across enterprise and regional organizations including Four Seasons Produce and Capital Blue Cross, he focuses on revenue visibility, workflow automation, data structure, and long-term operational leverage.

He coordinates architecture and development across projects so applications, infrastructure, and integrations move toward the same business outcome. His approach centers on fit rather than novelty: understand the operation, choose the right level of technology, and leave the client with a system that can continue to evolve.

Nate Lesher

Partner and Integration Specialist

Nate leads service delivery and integration strategy, helping clients understand how new tools will function in their actual environment. With fifteen years of Berks County IT experience across organizations including Reading School District and Shearer Tech, he brings practical insight into infrastructure planning, deployment logistics, hardware decisions, and ongoing support.

His work connects planning to day-to-day operations. Nate evaluates the location, coordinates implementation, and makes sure what is designed can be reliably supported, scaled, and adapted as the business changes.

Zeb Strauss

Systems Administrator

Zeb focuses on the stability and security behind each deployment. Drawing on experience with Computer Wizards and security-focused organizations throughout eastern Pennsylvania, he designs and maintains the network and server environments that allow applications and integrations to operate safely and consistently.

His work includes infrastructure hardening, monitoring, performance, recovery planning, and operational discipline. By treating security and resilience as design requirements from the start, Zeb helps client systems remain dependable as usage and complexity grow.

Wesley Lesher

Preferred Contractor — Application Developer

Wesley is a back-end focused application developer and long-time collaborator with Reading Modern Technology. He builds the technical engines behind complex systems, including register platforms, GPS-driven workflows, uptime monitoring, and operational applications that depend on reliable data processing.

As a preferred contractor, Wesley brings deep implementation capacity to larger custom builds. He translates architectural direction into stable, maintainable code and helps move systems from concept to production without sacrificing their ability to evolve.

Jennifer Stank

Preferred Contractor — Graphic Designer

Jennifer Stank is the owner of Stankin Good Designs and the creative force behind the visual identity of many Reading Modern Technology projects. She transforms technical solutions into cohesive brand experiences across websites, application interfaces, print, and marketing materials.

Her work ensures the system is not only functional but clear, credible, and consistent at every customer touchpoint. Jenn pairs thoughtful visual strategy with close collaboration so each product feels like an authentic extension of the client’s business.
